Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota ,
points out some interesting facts concerning last November'sPresidential election:
- Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29
- Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by:
Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.
Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and
living off various forms of government welfare...."
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase
of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already
having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal’s and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.
Pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake, knowing that
apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.
Leeches and Vampires. That's what put Barry in office. Those are the ones that will be willing to shed blood to keep him and the dems right where they are, too.
ReplyDeleteFacebook group, I bet we can find 1,000,000 people who disapproves of the Healthcare bill has grown over 1 million in 11 days. The opposition, 10,000....
ReplyDeleteI heard today that Barry is making 15 appointments while the congress is on recess. Circumventing the legislative process.
ReplyDeleteHere is a comment, everyone should learn how to use Google.

This entire email is a lie, not a single fact in it.
Please, use some judgement when posting things like this.
I think it is a great thing for this country to have debate and intelligent discussion, as well as differing views and ideas.
ReplyDeleteHowever, lies like this just dumb down not only the debate but the American public and are more of a threat to our country than any ideology, whether liberal or conservative.
You should really take this post down.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/ballot/athenian.asp does not refer to the above; it is in reference to the Bush/Gore election, not the McCain/Obama election. Snopes does not speak to the above commentary. I'm not sure where you are getting the information that "the entire email is a lie".
ReplyDeleteAs others have pointed out, this email that's circulating, and which you've reprinted here, is a complete lie. The first point alone should make you stop and think: are there really only 48 states?
ReplyDeleteWhy can't the oh-so-wrong right just face the facts? You lost the election, and you're probably going to lose many more to come. You had it all--the White House, the Congress, the Supreme Court--oh yeah, and that entity unto himself--Dick, the 4th branch of government--and the Republican Party proved only one thing in those horrible eight years: it is incapable of governing.
Sorry to point out the truth, but that's how it is.
On this one, gramma's wrong.
ReplyDeleteEven if these facts are to be wrong the message itself is to fall true if this happens.
ReplyDeleteTHESE "FACTS" ARE BULLSSHIT!
ReplyDeleteDo you mind if I quote a couple of your articles as long as I provide credit and sources back to your webpage?
ReplyDeleteMy blog is in the very same niche as yours and my users would genuinely benefit from some
of the information you provide here. Please let me
know if this okay with you. Many thanks!
