My question to you who live in California, and perhaps there is even someone in the Central Valley who is losing their trees and crops because of this,
Is it because of a minnow discovered in the lake?
or
Is it because the government drained most of the lake and is now rationing water trying to get you farmers to agree to a new water contract?Whatever it is, it is insidious

I watched a comedian/farmer on Foxnews one night, sorry can't remember his name, but he says that he's losing his farm crop(at this point I'm sure it's gone.) because of some damn minnow. They shut off the spiggots to save some damn minnow. Were I the farmers in that area I think I'd dynomite the lake and kill all the minnows. No reason to keep the lake closed then.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be surprised it would be a minnow that would get the water turned off; I haven't been following this. California should be grateful to get any water it can get, considering we are in a drought and all. I'm all for protecting species, but it gets a little ridiculous when people can't get food/work because of them

Well, I heard on Sean Hannity that it was the minnow, but was told by someone else it is because they are trying to negotiate a new water contract with the farmers. Will be interesting to find out for sure which it is.
